Thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Bike Month Ontario campaign! During the month of June, participants from 31 municipalities and 24 workplaces and campuses logged over 1,900 cycling trips on the Active Switch online tool! Great job Ontario!

Here’s the impact of 1,900 + cycling trips:

  • Over 31,000 km cycled and logged.
  • Preventing over 4,000 kg of harmful greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere.
  • Cost savings of over $17,500.
  • Reducing over 31,000 km of vehicle travel.

emergency ride home program taxi iconAs an employee at a participating Commute Ontario workplace, you are eligible for the Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program.

If you have an unforeseen emergency on any day you use a sustainable method to commute to work, you can request a reimbursement of up to $75 for your emergency transportation costs. 

To submit an ERH claim, kindly click on the "Submit ERH Claim" link on the left navigation bar and complete the form.
